About
Brie Evans is a young artist from Elkins, WV. Her love affair with art began at a very young age, from drawing pictures of her stuffed Beanie Babies with her grandma, to doing live wedding paintings and chalk murals in her local gym.
Brie holds a B.S. in marketing and management from Fairmont State University, and is putting her skills to work doing Social Media Management and Graphic Design for various local, small businesses in her area. One of her most memorable classes from college was Drawing 101, where she learned the foundational skills of still life drawing. She learned many vital techniques that have led her to be the artist she is today.
Her inspiration is drawn largely from the natural world around her. Living in the Monongahela National Forest allows her to take in so many of the small details of nature, which transcribe in her paintings that capture the finest details of whatever scene she is creating.
